Cody Stringer, Youth Minister

My name is Cody Stringer, and I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home in Washburn, Missouri. I accepted Christ in my life at a fairly early age and thought that was it, but God had a plan for my life. I ran away from His plan for a very long time trying to avoid what He wanted for me, but eventually after a long time of running away I found myself letting go and choosing the path He wanted for me and I have been at peace ever sense. I have served Him in the ministry for three years now and it has been a blessing in my life.

I was licensed as a minister at my home church of Prairie Hill Baptist Church on August 3rd, 2014, and I am now currently a student at Southwest Baptist University.

Christ Jesus said to his followers, the church, “ye are the salt of the earth, ... Ye are the light of the world, ... Let your light so shine before men, that they see your good works and glorify your Father, who is in Heaven...” - Matthew 5:13–16
